A friend asked me to help him out with a site he was struggling with. He is an events promoter specialising in the club scene, he has big plans and a clear idea of what he wants from his promotional material and general advertising.
This site is in constant development and change as DJs and events are booked, it’s important that alongside my graphic work the team are able to make updates themselves from their phones at any venue, at any time.

Here are some of the latest of my regular publications:
As you can see below the top left image was my starting point, I sourced some images I thought would help and the middle right was my proposal.
The client wanted something simpler and darker that fitted better with other assets they have for the brand, so I did the bottom two, the right hand one is for printing on airflow banner material and needs to have higher contrast where the black edges of the cup meets the back background. Time = 2 hours with adjustments.
This project was a direct mailing campaign where the specific details of the new and existing customers was tailored specifically based upon the customer type, trend, previous booking etc, so many fields of the design had to be dynamic, I had to work to the worst case scenario for each field, eg the longest word or name length determined the final point size. All data was input via excel sheets I had to modify for the digital press stage. This was an A5 roll fold and self seal design with multiple variables.
Here’s a new WordPress website for one of our latest clients, Milly is pleased with it which means we are pleased, we took a WordPress template and modified it to our clients requirements but made sure we didn’t go too far so future updates aren’t going to undo all of our hard work, this also means Milly won’t have to keep paying us for changes or fixes, bonus.
Another new company starting up in a recession.
